tools diagnostic and organizational mapping with Rede Apoena

In 2026, as part of the Lablab festival, we collaboratively developed a diagnostic of the tools and processes used by the Apoena Participatory Guarantee System.

Description

The project aimed to analyze the organizational procedures and digital tools used by Rede Apoena, located in the Paraíba Valley and the Serra da Mantiqueira (São Paulo). Based on listening sessions with Network participants, grouped according to their roles within the PGS, we put together a report detailing the Network's history, internal processes, and organizational chart. From this information, we developed a work plan for implementing free digital tools at Apoena. The whole project was documented in the digital space.

How we did it

The project was developed through weekly meetings with Apoena's coordination, spanning the planning, development, and evaluation stages of the activities. To build the diagnostic, we held five online active-listening sessions with participants from different focus groups: general coordination, group coordination, evaluation committee, newcomers, and some founding members, in addition to the Tekoporã team's participation in the PGS Assembly in January. Using a semi-structured script, these people shared essential input for understanding Apoena's structure and routine, as well as chronological milestones and founding documents of the organization. We also organized an in-person meeting with eleven key members and former members of Apoena, a moment of reunion and remembrance of their trajectories, intertwined with the organization's own trajectory.

Technologies used

The digital space was built with Docusaurus. For the presentation at the festival, we used the Jogo Griô (Griô Game) as a reference, a method for collective knowledge building.
